Topic : IT FELL ON GOOD GROUND
Biblical Text: ‘ But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the Word, and understandeth it, which also beareth fruit, and brought forth, some an hundred fold, some sixty, some thirty’. [Matthew 13:23]
I know a man who was a Muslim and gave his life to Christ in Kano. He faced persecution for accepting Jesus in his life. He gave up everything he was doing to be a full-time missionary in South-west part of Nigeria, focusing mainly on unreached people groups. It had been over 25 years now that he heed the call of God; he has gone through several trials and afflictions for the Gospel, yet he is still holding firmly to Jesus as the author and finisher of his faith. He has discipled several people for the Lord- Jesus Christ. This is an example of one who allows the Word to fall on good ground to produce fruits in their lives and in the lives of others. Apostle Paul gave his life to Christ and he allowed the Word to fall on good ground in his life. Despite all the tribulations and persecution, he did not stop following and bearing fruits for Him. He wrote 2/3 of the New Testament. He gave all of his life to bear fruits for the Lord. As believers, we must allow the Word of God to fall on good ground in our life in order to bear fruit and produce a hundred-fold return. Aquila and Priscilla allowed the Word of God to fall on good ground in their life; they became helpers of Apostle Paul’s ministry. I pray the Word of God will fall on good ground in your lives in Jesus Name.
KNOW IT ∞ Allow the Word of God fall on good ground in your life by being a diligent hearer and follower of the Word.

PRAY IT ∞ Father, give me the grace to make your Word fall on good ground in my life all the days of my life.
