Topic: INIQUITIES DRAW THE LINE OF SEPARATION
Biblical Text: ‘ But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear ‘. [Isaiah 59:2]
The Lord told the children of Israel not to go up and fight the Ammonites; God said He will not go with them if they refuse. Yet they rebelled against the commandments of the Lord and went to battle the Ammonites. They were smitten and destroyed before their enemies. They returned to God and wept but God did not hearken unto them because of their iniquity. Iniquities draw the line of separation between God and us. When we deviate from his commandments and instructions, we become stained and are separated from Him. When you are stained– a line is drawn between you and God; He will not hear your cry at that point. It is foolishness for anyone who claims to be a child of God to remain in iniquity and expect God to hear their heart cry. The only heart cry of an unbeliever that God will hear is that of genuine repentance. God is holy, He will not hearken or attend to the prayer of any, stained by iniquity. Making vain oblations and prayers to God at this point is a waste. It is dangerous to be separated from God because we are exposed to satanic attacks and to Gods anger. Today, you can erase the line of separation between you and God by genuinely asking God for forgiveness and forsaking those sins. God is waiting for you; do not give the devil a room to operate in your life.

READ IT ∞ Ezekiel 8:17-18, Isaiah 1:12-16, Deuteronomy 1:43-45
PRAY IT ∞ Father, forgive me of my sins, I receive grace to forsake my sins in Jesus Name.
