Biblical Text: “ Yet a little while and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me because I live, ye shall live also ”. [John 14:19]
Jesus is alive! He is alive! O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The greatest event that defined our existence as a Christian is the death and resurrection of Jesus. Ordinarily, we were supposed to suffer and to die but Jesus took our place. He paid the ultimate price for our sins by his death on the cross. Apostle Paul said, ‘If after the manner of men, I have fought with beast at Ephesus, what advantageth it me; if the dead rise not? Let us eat and drink for tomorrow we die’[1 Corinthians 15:32].Thanks be to Jesus! Because He is alive, we know we have access to everlasting life! The hope of a true believer is that they never taste of death; just like Jesus did! A true believer of Christ does not die like ordinary men, they live forever. That is the promise Jesus made to us. Jesus had the power to lay down his life and to take it up again in order to blot out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, nailing it to the cross thereby giving us victory over death and the grave [Colossians 2:14]. Praise God! Beloved, our faith is not in vain, JESUS is alive. Through the resurrection of Jesus we have been begotten to a lively hope, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled; that fadeth not. Rejoice, Jesus is alive!
KNOW IT ∞ Because Jesus is alive, I cannot fear death or the grave.
READ IT ∞ 1 Peter 1:3, Colossians 2:14, 1 Corinthians 15:17
PRAY IT ∞ Father, I rejoice because Jesus is alive forever more.
